SANIBEL BEAUTIFICATION AT WORK

Sanibel Beautification volunteers got some help from the younger generation when Erica Billheimer joined the group to help mulch, weed, plant dune daisies, and sweep up at the Causeway intersection.

Erica will receive credits towards her public service requirements
at the Sanibel School for her efforts.

Volunteers Bill McBeath, Diane Stockes, Pat Barbour, Charlie Hart,
Sandy Metz, Ada Shissler joined Erica in getting some healthy exercise while making the entrance to the island more beautiful. The volunteers planted 100 dune daisies, spread 70 bags of mulch, weeded, trimmed and did liter pick up on the four corners of Causeway Rd/Periwinkle Way and the Lindgren Blvd median on Saturday, February 9.

Sanibel Beautification volunteers work every second and fourth Saturday of each month starting at 8:00 am and finishing by 10:00
am.

Anyone is welcome to participate! Tasks include litter pick-up,
watering, weeding, trimming, and mulching. No experience or commitments involved. Wear shoes (not sandals), and bring work gloves. Meet at the Periwinkle Way/Causeway Road intersection and park beside Century 21.
